Our experienced safety inspectors are integral to our safety division, and they will ensure that practical, easy to follow & sensible solutions are recommended to resolve any safety issues identified.

Our Team
CEO
Marcus Munstermann
Marcus is a foundation member of QIA Group and has been involved in the strata industry for the past 20 years. He has a wide and varied working background, in the property industry working in land sales, real estate project marketing and as Building Manager with management rights over a 94 lot scheme.
John
John is a trade qualified bricklayer, working for many years building structures, many kinds of structures from houses to pizza ovens. He holds an Associate Diploma of Building and has many years experience as a building estimator, project officer and maintenance manager. John is Pool Safety Inspector, Fire Safety Advisor, a licensed Asbestos Removalist and has completed a Cert IV of Community Services. He brings a great depth of knowledge and experience to everything he does.
Ken
Ken brings over 15 years of quality assurance management expertise to the company, with a certificate in internal Auditing of Environmental and Quality Systems. Ken represented Panasonic Australia on the board and twice chairman of Product Stewardship Australia a not-for-profit organisation dealing with end of life recycling of consumer electronics. He has a keen interest in recycling and environmental management assisting companies in achieving impressive results in diverting business waste from landfill.
Mike
Mike is a 34 year career veteran of the Fire Brigade, he has spent many years at the coal face providing him with a great deal of practical experience and knowledge. Prior to commencing with QIA Group Mike spent some 5 years as the Manager of both the Compliance and Prosecutions and Budget Accommodation Sections of the QFES. Mike also holds an Associate Diploma Applied Science (Fire Technology) and a Graduate Diploma Building Fire Safety and has completed many short courses including a Hazmat Instructors Course and a Safety Equipment Instructors Course.
Steve
Steve is a qualified Structural Draftsperson. After completing his apprenticeship in South Africa with James Brown and Hamer, he went on to serve the industry for 10 years, during which time he opened his own structural drafting company with a partner, with a varied client base that included both residential and industrial customers. Steve immigrated to New Zealand where he spent five years and nine months working for the Earth Quake Commission as an Estimator and latterly Claims Settlement Analyst, which involved estimating the costs of damage to residential homes and buildings as a result of earthquake damage. Steve's strength lies in his attention to detail and analytical approach.
Simon
Simon joined QIA Group in 2007, he came to us from the geo-technical and civil construction industry. Simon has worked on several large infrastucture projects and a mulititude of smaller commercial and residential projects. He has applied his expertise and diligence to a very substantial body of reports in our firm and continues to expand his knowledge at every opportunity.
Robert
Robert is a Quantity Surveyor with nearly 40 years experience in the field, and since 2001 has been specialising in strata. Robert is also a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Association of Cost Engineers, making his advice a much sought after quantity.
